16mm ovals with hand-polished faces or sides.  The hole runs through the long direction.  (Please see "Defects" below.)

Colors/description:

Greenish turquoise (i.e., opaque greenish aqua) with a yellow-brown picasso coating around the edges.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

First, beads with significant defects are eliminated before shipping.  However, if you look at the thumbnail picture above, you'll see that the sizes of the the polished sides (often called "windows") vary.  In some cases they are smaller, leaving a thicker brown edge (like the bead in the lower left), and in some cases they are wider, leaving a narrow brown edge (like the two beads in the upper left).  There is nothing that I can do about that.  I can't, for example, match up the sizes of the windows so that a customer gets all beads with small windows or all beads with large windows, for one simple reason:  many beads have a small window on one side and a large window on the other side.  So you should expect to get beads that have a mix of window sizes.
