Beads per lot: |
50 beads |
|
Cost per bead: |
7 cents |
|
Bead
material: |
Glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
7mm-wide bell-shaped flowers with the hole running sideways through
the tapered back of the flower. In other words, these flowers are
button-shaped with a flower for the face. They are 5mm from front to
back. |
|
Colors/description: |
Milky light aqua-green (i.e., light teal) with a luster coating. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
The beads appear to be in good shape,
although an occasional bead is missing a petal (I'm not sure what
percentage, but it seems to be small). The missing petals didn't
break off. Rather, it appears that the mold was defective. (In
the middle-right of the thumbnail picture, you can see such a bead.) |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
I originally photographed these beads loose on a plate, so that some of
them were upside down showing the backs of the beads. But the
picture was too confusing because the beads were lying every which way.
So I re-took the photo with the beads strung on a hank.
I have always struggled with whether to call this color light green or
light teal. Teal beads go on the Aqua page, but these beads seem too
green to go on that page. |

Caleb's notes: |
I got these during a 40% sale at the
supplier. At my normal discount, these beads are too expensive to
restock. |
