Comments:

The supplier calls this milky pink "marbled".  The beads aren't quite as colorful as the supplier's picture indicates (see below), but they are nice enough.  Actually, the beads are only as colorful as my picture (above) shows when they are viewed in bright light.  In low light, the pink looks fairly dull.  I should add that the gilt coating looks more gold than my picture indicates; my picture makes the coating look somewhat silver.

 

I think the beads would look better if they were opaque pink with a gilt coating, instead of milky pink.  From now on, I am going to refer to this kind of mottle gold coating as "gilt" instead of "gold luster".  I don't know why I didn't think of that before.
