Bead
material: |
Glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
10mm squares (about 4.5mm thick) with hand-polished "windows". |
|
Colors/description: |
Translucent plum purple (or perhaps cranberry) with one more more opaque
light blue streaks through each bead. If the streak is at the
surface, it looks light blue. If it is under the plum glass, it
looks lavender; so it appears that the beads have three colors in them.
There is a brown picasso coating around the edges. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
The full-size picture right out of the camera showed all kinds of nicks
and a few small fissures, but I just can't see those defects with my eyes.
I do, of course, inspect these beads individually before shipping, so any
beads with significant defects are eliminated before shipping. |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
These are really pretty beads. |
