Size/shape:

10mm (long) x 10mm (wide) flat bell flowers with the hole running the length (i.e., from the top of the flower to the bottom).

Colors/description:

Turquoise with a mottled luster coating.  I'm frankly not sure if the color of these beads is in the glass or in the coating.  The coating is not synthetic.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

The original full-size picture showed that the beads have cracks, fissures and possibly hair lines.  However, the coating fills those in to some extent, and the defects are hard to see with the eyes.  There is no evidence that the beads will break apart, and since the defects aren't very visible, I have not lowered the price.  In the past I would lower the price even if the defects couldn't be seen, but I don't do that any more.

Comments:

These beads have a really pretty color.  It can appear a little more greenish or bluish depending on the light source.  I love the mottling.  However, in low light the color is muted and dull.
