Defects: |
I eliminate seriously defective beads
before shipping. Defects include cracks, deep or long scratches, partially polished windows, large pits, large spots of picasso
coating on the windows, and large bubbles in the glass (if the glass is translucent). However, I don't count
very small pits, small nicks, very shallow scratches that are hard to see, or small spots of picasso coating on the windows as defects. If you receive any beads with serious
defects, that means that I overlooked them, and you should contact me for a partial refund.
Some beads have areas which are clear instead of blue. I think they mix the
blue glass into clear glass because the clear glass is more viscous and flows into the mold better, but that's
just a guess. If you enlarge the picture above, you'll see beads with clear glass along the edges or over
the holes. Some beads are clear at one end. I do not consider such color anomalies to be defects, and
I don't eliminate those beads. |
