Bead
material: |
Glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
17mm-long, 13mm-wide, nautilus-shaped
beads. The hole runs through the long dimension. |
|
Colors/description: |
Opaque silky yellow beads with what I
think is two picasso coatings: a dark-brown picasso coating with a grayish-aqua picasso coating on top
of it. Then, there is coral red in the grooves of the pattern. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
I haven't noticed any significant
defects. If these beads have the fissures in the grooves which another of the nautilus beads have, they are
very few. The picture revealed, however, that not all the grooves have the coral red in them. |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
It's possible that there is only one
picasso coating on these beads, but if so, it is very sophisticated that it contains so many colors. In the
original large picture, I see dark brown, grayish-aqua, and olive green. |
