Bead
material: |
Glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
17mm-long, 13mm-wide, nautilus-shaped
beads. The hole runs through the long dimension. |
|
Colors/description: |
Rosy pink beads with a mottled topaz
coating. The coating could be considered a picasso coating. It's possible, though I am not sure, that
the pink color is also a coating, and that the underlying bead is white. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
I haven't noticed any significant
defects. If these beads have the fissures in the grooves which another of the nautilus beads have, they are
very few. |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
The pink/topaz color combination is
common in Czech beads, but this rendition of it is particularly nice. |
