Shell-shaped beads.  9mm from hole to hole; 9mm wide; 5mm thick.

Colors/description:

Horizontal stripes of various shades of green, brown, yellow, white and possibly red; most of the colors seem to be opaque.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

The picture revealed just a few beads with cracks, though many beads have small pits.  Most of the pits are so small that you won't be able to see them.  I reduced the price by 5%, though I don't believe the defects are that high.  Otherwise, I would have charged $3.90.

Comments:

These beads were a pleasant surprise.  The last time I bought beads that looked like this, the supplier had brightened the picture and the actual beads were dark and depressing.  Also, shells like this are usually loaded with cracks, but in this case the cracked beads probably account for only 2% of the total.
