Bead
material: |
glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
15mm bone-shaped beads with the hole
running the long direction. |
|
Colors/description: |
Caramel brown with loose horizontal red
stripes. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
The beads appear to be in good shape.
There is a visible seam down the sides of each bead which gives the beads a slightly cheap appearance (really good
beads wouldn't have a visible seam). Some beads have little dimples towards the ends (you can see such a
bead in the picture above; look at the bottom, slightly left of center); not all the beads are perfectly shaped.
Bone-shaped beads sometimes have fissures at the ends, but I see no fissures in these beads. |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
I like these funky beads. Please
note that the actual beads are slightly lighter than the picture indicates, and in bright light can look
yellowish. |
