Size/shape:

33mm translucent curved leaf-shaped beads with grooves for the veins.

Colors/description:

Translucent maroon red and a matte finish.  In low light, these beads are very dark.

Defects:

The beads have a lot of defects, as follows:  (1) most beads have roughness or some other imperfection along one edge of the leaf; (2) most of the beads have some roughness in the grooves that form the veins; (3) some beads have scrapes in the matte finish; (4) some beads have other surface anomalies.  I am selling these beads at cost; 20¢ each is what I paid for them.

Comments:

Getting these beads was a mistake.  I bought them from my supplier's web site; their picture didn't reveal any defects.  I also bought them by weight, so I didn't know how many I was getting for my money, and they turned out to be incredibly expensive.  Because they are defective and because I overpaid for them, I am selling them at cost and making no income from them.  If you are not a perfectionist, like I am, you may like them; but for me, they are just too defective.  Incidentally, I suggest you order a couple more than you really want, because some may have to be discarded.
