Glass beads (probably white) with a light caramel or dark cream synthetic coating.

Defects:

The coating on Czech pearls is fairly thin, and I don't know how durable it will be.  Also, inevitably a few pearls will be missing some coating around one of the holes (a common defect with Czech coated beads).  A few pearls may also have some anomalies in the coating, such as bumps, indentations or a bit of dirt.  I have written a special page about glass pearls and other coated beads; please click here to read it.

Comments:

My picture above is really quite poor.  It is too contrasty.  Most of each bead is dark with an over-exposed light reflection.  The actual beads are quite nice.  The color is subtle:  a cross between gold and cream.  It is a color I have never seen before.  I'm sure you'll like it.
