Item no.:

G1371

Bead material:

glass

Country of origin:

Czech Republic

Size/shape:

10mm-long, 5-sided tubes.

Colors/description:

Jet black.

Defects:

Some of the beads have slight malformations at the ends.  Each bead should have a flat end, but sometimes the end is at a slight angle, or there is some curvature that doesn't belong there.  With that in mind, I've given the beads a low price.  (I didn't make any attempt to determine what percentage of the beads are defective, but I'm fairly sure it is less than 25%, and possibly much less than that.)

How photographed:

At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:

The defects are fairly subtle, much more so than the last Atlas beads I sold.  I think they are called "Atlas" beads because they have the 5-sided shape of an Atlas pencil.  Please note that the "jaggies" that you see in the picture above are a byproduct of digital photography.
