Colors/description:

Glass beads (not sure which color) with a synthetic hematite-colored pearl coating.  Hematite is the color of dark steel.

Defects:

The coating on Czech pearls is fairly thin, and I don't know how durable it will be.  Also, inevitably a few pearls will be missing a small amount of coating around one of the holes (a common defect with Czech coated beads).  A few pearls may also have some anomalies in the coating, such as bumps, indentations or a bit of dirt.  I have written a special page about glass pearls and other coated beads; please click here to read it.
