My camera doesn't photograph reds
accurately, and I was unable to adjust the colors in my photo-editing program to make the color look right.
The beads are a rich ruby red, not the slightly orange-red that you see above. When I tried to take the
orange out, the beads started to look fuchsia, which wasn't right either. To complicate matters, the beads
look very bright in daylight and very dark in artificial light. Also regarding the picture, I photographed
the beads too close together, which makes them hard to see. In addition, as I stated above, crackle beads
do break apart sometimes. The "crackles" in the beads are actual cracks, caused when the beads are
heated and then cooled quickly. |
