I eliminate seriously defective beads
before shipping. I eliminate beads with cracks, scratches, partially polished windows, large pits, large spots of picasso
coating on the windows, and large bubbles in the glass. However, I don't count very small pits, small nicks,
very shallow scratches that are hard to see, or small spots of picasso coating on the windows as defects. If
the beads are translucent, as these are, I don't eliminate beads with rough or frosty-looking holes running
through them. Some beads may have gotten picasso coating inside the holes, and I don't count those as
defective; those beads will appear to have very dark holes running through them. If you receive any beads
with serious defects, that means that I overlooked them and you should contact me for a partial refund. |

(1) I had to alter the picture because it
came out looking blue instead of dark aqua. Even after I altered it, the color still looks a little off.
The beads look dark aqua to me and not capri blue, as the picture shows. It's
possible, of course, that these are "chameleon" beads which change color depending on the light source.
(2) The picasso coating around the edges came out looking almost black in the photo, but it is not that dark; it
is a dark brown. |
