The picture showed a distressing number
of pits in the glass, so I examined several strands and found almost no pits. However, the second hank of
beads I examined had lots of pits. Clearly, some runs of this bead were made better than other runs, and the
runs got mixed together in the mass that I bought. I cut the beads off the strands and mixed them all
together, so that the bad would mix in with the good and no one would get a batch that was highly defective.
Then I reduced the price from $3.90 per 50 beads to $3.00 (that's more than 20%). Even if the percentage of
pitted beads you get is higher than 20%, I think that some of them are usable, so I think that a price drop of 20%
is reasonable. If the percentage of pitted beads you get is significantly higher than 20%, please contact me
for a refund. |
