Deep topaz with a mottled gold luster ("gossamer") coating; the gold coating causes light refractions inside the bead which look pink, so there is a slightly pinkish hue to these beads (but only slightly).

Defects:

The beads appear to be in good shape.

Comments:

I figured it out on my own that gold luster coatings cause pink light refractions inside beads (see Colors/Description above).  Every single gold-luster-coated bead I have ever seen has pink in it.  The pink, which you can see if you look at the beads up close, adds an interesting dimension.  The gold luster coating makes the deep topaz look even richer.  Note:  I originally posted these as 8mm beads, which was a mistake.
