Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
8mm round (spherical) |
|
Colors/description: |
A glass bead (probably white) with a
two-tone brown synthetic coating. The dark brown seems to be pooled around one of the holes, and
it streaks up from the "pool" and swirls around in the lighter brown. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
The coating on coated Czech beads is fairly thin, and I don't know how durable it will be.
Also, inevitably a few beads will be missing some coating from around
one of the holes. A few beads may also have some anomalies in the
coating, such as bumps, indentations or a bit of dirt. |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
I first got these beads in 6mm (no.
G1130), then I got them in 8mm (these beads). However, the 8mm beads are substantially lighter than the 6mm
beads, and they are also more caramel in appearance. However, they are not nearly as caramel as the 6mm
caramel beads (no. G1150). In other words, none of these beads match each other.
About the picture:
The light reflections on the beads give the impression that the picture is out of focus, but it isn't. |
