Bead
material: |
Glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
6mm bicones (a bicone is two pyramids
joined at the base with the hole through the center). |
|
Colors/description: |
Glass beads (probably clear) with an
opaque reddish-bronze surface, which is probably fired onto the bead. I don't know if there is actually any
bronze in the surface. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
The beads appear to be in good shape.
Some beads have some grayish metallic spots on them, but that seems to be part of the "look". |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
I don't know why I didn't get these
beads sooner; they are really striking. |
