Glass beads (probably black) with a dark bronze surface; the surface is probably fired onto the bead.

Defects:

I noticed one or two misshapen beads, but otherwise they appear to be in good shape.

At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:

Don't ask me why, but Czech cubes are never perfectly shaped (with all three dimensions being the same length).
