Deep turquoise with dark-green specks; these are synthetically coated beads.

Defects:

The beads appear to be in good shape.  However, some beads are likely to be missing their coating around the one or both holes; this is a common defect of synthetically coated beads.

How photographed:

In the light tent with studio lights.  This explains why the beads look dull; they actually have a shiny surface.

Comments:

My picture is very poor.  It was one of the last pictures that I took in New York using the light tent (which I won't be using again).  The actual beads are a richer color and much shinier.  Also, to my eyes the actual beads look a little more green than the picture indicates.
