Defects:

A perfect bead is all gray with just a black seam down the middle.  However, many beads have black areas on the surface.  Because of that, the price was reduced more than 20%, from $4.30 to $3.40 for a lot of 50.

Comments:

Above I describe the color as "bluish gray", and the beads do have a slight bluish tint.  However, in yellowish artificial light, that tint isn't as noticeable.  I can't say that I really love these beads, but they are interesting.
