There's a lot to say about these beads:

Many of them have scratches.  However, I am eliminating beads with long or deep scratches (or other serious defects, such as cracks) before shipping (if you receive beads with cracks or significant scratches that were not included free in the package, please let me know and I'll give you a partial refund).

If you enlarge the picture above (by clicking on it), you'll see that many beads have large black areas.  Those black areas are actually defects.  Because of the expense of the beads, and because of the number of beads with black on the surface, I am not counting the black areas as defects and will not give you a refund for beads with black areas or spots (but note that if you are dissatisfied, you can return the entire lot for a refund).  If you use all the beads with black areas in one jewelry piece, I doubt that your customers will realize that the beads are defective.

These beads, as stated above, have a lot of defects (scratches and black areas).  Be sure to read my comments under "Defects" above.

About the picture:  The picture above has actually been "improved" quite a bit.  I spent a long time removing scratches from the beads.  I didn't do this out of any desire to deceive, but more because of my perfectionist nature.  Since I am eliminating beads with scratches anyway, I felt that it would be okay to show you how the beads look without scratches.
