Defects:

The coating on Czech pearls is fairly thin, and I don't know how durable it will be.  Also, inevitably a few pearls will be missing their coating around one of the holes (a common defect with Czech coated beads).  A few pearls may also have some anomalies in the coating, such as bumps, indentations or a bit of dirt.  I have written a special page about glass pearls and other coated beads; please click here to read it.

The supplier's picture isn't very good, but these are simple beads and you can see how the coating looks from other pearls on the page.
