These are fire-polished beads, and many of the windows  or facets are not perfectly smooth.

Comments:

About the color:  The supplier calls this color "zircon", which is a dark aqua color, but they look like emerald green to me.  However, in the picture it appears that the green is more like a teal color.  I suspect that the shade you see may change, depending on the light source.  If you order these beads, they may look green to you, or they may look mostly green with a hint of aqua or teal.  About the photo:  The picture was taken using the light tent, which always makes beads look dull.
