|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
8mm (long) pyramid-shaped beads (about 8mm wide at the base) with the hole
running through the center. |
|
Colors/description: |
Translucent sapphire blue with a cloud
of translucent peridot green in the middle. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
I haven't noticed any defects, but an
occasional bead may have a problem. |
|
How photographed: |
In the light tent with studio lights.
This method always makes the beads look dull, but these beads are shiny. |
|
Comments: |
The actual beads are a little lighter
than the picture shows, and also shinier (as mentioned above). These beads are more expensive than the
one-color pyramid beads because the supplier charges more for two-color beads.
Note: For a very long time I
had these beads marked as 10mm. The supplier said they were 10mm, and I
accepted that number without measuring them myself. It turns out that the
supplier was measuring the base of the beads corner to corner (a dishonest
way of measuring them). |
