clear glass with a cloud of translucent dark topaz (brown) glass in each bead; some beads are mostly brown

Defects:

I haven't noticed any significant defects beyond an occasional bubble and some roughness in the holes, which makes them look a little frosty.

How photographed:

In the light tent with studio lights.  This method always makes the beads look like they aren't shiny, but they are.
