Comments:

My picture, unfortunately, is quite terrible.  It doesn't show the shape of the beads very well, and it makes the red look opaque and generally blah.  The red glass is actually very beautiful, being translucent and more of a crimson red (although not as dark as the picture below).  Here is a close-up from the supplier's site which will give you a better idea of the shape and color:
