Colors/description:

Translucent medium topaz glass surrounding a core of white glass .

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

I estimate that a very small number of beads (perhaps 2%) are cracked.  Also, an occasional bead may have some other defect which is unacceptable.  I reduced the price by about 6% from what I otherwise would have charged.  (I later reduced the price further because they weren't selling well.)

Comments:

These beads, being Indian, have a rustic quality.  By rustic I mean that there are slight differences in size and shape from one bead to the next, and also some very minor defects (surface anomalies, small bubbles, small bits of dirt in the glass, etc.).  Personally, I like rustic beads and plan to buy more of them.

The topaz color in these beads isn't as yellowish as the Czech beads have; it is a bit more on the brownish side.
