Many of the grooves are rough inside, and there may be roughness on other parts of the beads, such as around the holes.

Comments:

These beads are definitely "rustic" due to the rough grooves.  To the naked eye, the roughness isn't very apparent unless you examine the beads closely.  However, it is apparent enough that I wouldn't use these beads with any beads which are very perfect or fine-looking.
