Beads per lot: |
50 |
|
Cost per bead: |
8.4 cents |
|
Bead
material: |
Glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
4mm (from hole to hole) x 7mm (wide) faceted rondels. A rondel is a
round bead which is wider than it is long. |
|
Colors/description: |
Turquoise (opaque greenish aqua) with a yellow-brown picasso coating, which makes the beads look
olive green. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
The only significant defect I've noticed is that an occasional bead won't
have as much picasso coating as the others. Also, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. To read about the
fire-polishing process, click here. |

How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
I carried similar beads three years ago (but they were darker). At
that time I charged $3.70 per lot. So in three years I don't think
my price has gone up that much. |
