Size/shape:

4mm (hole to hole) x 7mm (wide) faceted rondels.  Rondels are any round bead which is wider than it is long.

Colors/description:

Translucent medium olive green with gold-colored 'aventurine' sparkles; the sparkles are not evenly distributed, but occur in clumps or swirls.  I don't know whether the sparkles are real aventurine.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

I haven't noticed any significant defects.  However, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.  To read about the fire-polishing process, click here.

Comments:

The aventurine sparkles in these beads are very nice.  When the sparkles occur in clumps, they look golden brown.
