Colors/description:

I believe, though I am not sure, that the glass is a subtle mixture of clear and amethyst purple, with a fuchsia/gold coating on part of each bead.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

I haven't noticed any significant defects.  However, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.  To read about the fire-polishing process, click here.

Comments:

These beads reflect the colors amethyst, gold and a little fuchsia.  As I state above, I believe that the amethyst color (which is subtle) is in the glass, and the fuchsia color is in the gold coating.  I have seen gold coatings on other Czech beads which have a fuchsia component, and I think these beads have such a coating.
