Size/shape:

7mm x 8mm rosebud-shaped beads which have been faceted around the outside middle of the beads.

Colors/description:

Clear glass with small clouds of fuchsia glass and possibly small clouds of amethyst glass, and with a gold luster coating on part of each bead.

Defects:

I haven't noticed any significant defects.  However, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.

Comments:

The beads look a little darker in the picture than they actually are, but that's because they are bunched together.  These beads have an extremely complex appearance, so much so that I can't really tell what's in them even after looking at them for quite a while (but that may have more to do with the fact that I need glasses than anything else).  The supplier says they are clear beads with swirls of fuchsia, but I think I see other colors in there (amethyst and possibly hyacinth).  At times the fuchsia looks crimson to me, and indeed the picture makes it look crimson.  These beads look best in bright light.  In low light they retain their sparkle, but the colors look a little muddy.
