Item no.: |
F331 |
|
Bead
material: |
glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
7mm x 8mm pressed beads in a rosebud
shape, with facets around the outside. The beads were then dipped in acid to give them a matte finish. |
|
Colors/description: |
Clear glass with swirls of pink and
white inside. |
|
Defects: |
I haven't noticed any significant
defects. However, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. (On the other hand, the acid
wash that they apply to make the beads matte may erase some of those defects.) |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
These beads have "a lot going on":
an unusual rosebud shape with facets, swirls of color inside clear glass, and then a matte finish. Even so,
they "work" for me. These are the most expensive "rosebud" beads I have gotten so far. |
