|
Cost per bead: |
6.8 cents |
|
Bead
material: |
Glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
5mm long by 6mm wide "pony"
(ring-shaped) beads with facets on the outside; the holes are about 2mm. |
|
Colors/description: |
Clear beads with green-painted holes; I
assume the manufacturer uses a specially formulated long-lasting paint, but the truth is that I don't know how
durable the paint will be. |
|
Hole size: |
2mm to 2.5mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
A very small percentage of the beads
(probably less than 5%) have defects, most notably bubbles in the glass, dirt in the glass, and/or spots of what
appears to be paint on the outside of the beads. Please note also that fire-polished beads always have some
imperfect facets. |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
I'm concerned about the durability of
the paint inside the holes, but I'm sure the color will last for at least a few years, and possibly much longer.
These beads have larger-than-normal holes. |
