I haven't noticed any defects, although fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.

Comments:

These are interesting beads because they have more than one thing "going on" -- they are a mixture of translucent, white-cloudy and black-cloudy fuchsia glass.  The supplier calls them "strawberry rhubarb" and I decided to keep that name.

Here is the supplier's picture.  There's a discrepancy between the color in my picture and the color in the supplier's picture; I think that the color in my picture is more accurate, although the beads are not so dark when viewed in bright light.
