I haven't noticed any defects, but fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.

Comments:

These beads are even more gorgeous than the picture makes them look.  They are wonderfully bright and sparkly.  Important:  The latest batch of these beads may be a little darker than the batch pictured, but I'm not really sure since the previous batch has sold out.  The new batch looks like a bright red in daylight, but in artificial light it looks more like a dark ruby.
