Defects:

Fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.  If you enlarge the picture above, you'll see quite a few of them.  Added later:  When I divided these beads into lots, I discovered that the sides of the beads are not smooth, as they are with the other faceted rondels I have sold.  However, the sides will not be visible if you sandwich these beads between other beads.

Comments:

To my eyes, these beads look better in person than in the picture.  Please note that in low light they appear much darker than the pictures indicates.
