Fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets, and the imperfections are always more noticeable on opaque beads.

Comments:

This is an unusual combination (black glass with a brown metallic coating) but it looks good to me.  Unfortunately, my picture isn't the best.  Here is the supplier's picture, which gives you more of a close-up view.  The supplier's picture shows an iridescent quality to the beads; the beads do have that quality, but it isn't as apparent as the picture suggests.
