Defects:

I haven't noticed any defects, but please note that fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.

Comments:

These beads are fairly dull.  If you look at the picture above, it seems to show that some beads are darker than others.  In actuality, all the beads are about as light at the lightest beads in the picture.  The purple is grayish.  In yellowish light, such some kinds of artificial light, the beads can look brownish.
