Defects:

The beads appear to be in good shape; however, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.

Comments:

The first batch of these beads was more elegant than the second batch.  The crimson glass seemed to grow out of one end of each bead.  With the second batch, the crimson glass occurs more irregularly within the beads.  About the color:  The crimson red color can appear very bright in daylight, and very dark in artificial light at night.  The color ranges from bright red to a very dark, brownish red.
