Defects:

I haven't noticed any significant defects.  However, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.  To read about the fire-polishing process, click here.

Comments:

The supplier calls these beads "pinkaline", but I decided to keep the name I already had.  As I have said about similar beads before, I am pretty sure that the inner glass is clear, and that the pink color results from light reflecting against the gold coating inside the bead (but I'm not sure).  The supplier has increased his price more than 50% since I first carried them more than five years ago.  Below is the picture that I took back then.  I think my newer picture is more accurate, but it is hard to tell.  Both thumbnail pictures can be enlarged.
