material: |
Glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
6mm-long barrel or squat oval beads with
a diamond pattern on four sides. They could also be called nuggets. |
|
Colors/description: |
Clear glass with swirls of translucent crimson red;
some beads have more red than others. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
The large photo that I first took showed
a lot of bubbles in the beads, but I've never considered bubbles to be a serious defect. In fact, I find
them charming. The beads are quite small and the bubbles aren't very noticeable. |

How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
These aren't fancy beads, but I find them interesting. |
